Your home base

Stay in town. Make the coast your day out.

San Miguel de Salinas is an inland town on the southern Costa Blanca. Choose it for a stay with your own everyday rhythm, and plan the beaches, golf courses and coastal towns as separate outings.

Do you need a car?

For a holiday with several beach visits or rounds of golf, a car is worth considering. For time in town, walking convenience depends on the accommodation's exact entrance and your own needs. We have not measured door-to-door walking routes for the apartment yet.

Town centre or wider San Miguel?

A San Miguel address may refer to the town itself or the surrounding municipality. Before booking, locate the building rather than relying on the town name. Trace the actual route to a grocery shop and a place you would enjoy having dinner.

For our Cruise apartment, ask the owner for the exact arrival pin and access details when planning your stay. Photographs and measured walking routes will be added after handover; the current photographs show the area, not the apartment.

Walking: test the whole errand

A good walking route includes the return with groceries, not just the distance to a shop. Look for crossings, changes in elevation and shade, and decide whether the route works for everyone travelling.

For a longer stay, think about the errands you repeat: groceries, a café, meals out and a pharmacy if needed. Check opening hours during your dates rather than relying on a summer visit or an old listing.

The coast is a trip, not the doorstep

Orihuela Costa and Torrevieja give you options for coastal outings from an inland base. Save the particular beach or neighbourhood you mean to visit and check the journey on the day.

If walking to the sea every morning is non-negotiable, compare a coastal address before choosing this apartment. If you enjoy exploring different places and returning to your own kitchen, San Miguel is worth considering.

A longer stay: ordinary details matter

A month gives you time to establish a routine. Ask about internet, heating, laundry facilities, storage and the exact costs included in your quote. Those details often matter more than a long sightseeing list.

The shared pool should be treated as a seasonal amenity until its operating arrangements are confirmed. A lift is useful, but it does not by itself establish step-free access throughout the building or accessibility inside the apartment.

Frequently asked questions

Is San Miguel the same as Torrevieja?

No. They are separate places. Our apartment is in San Miguel de Salinas, inland from the coast, and is not in central Torrevieja.

How far is the nearest supermarket on foot?

We have not published a measured walking route from the apartment entrance yet. Ask for the location and check a route that works for your mobility and shopping needs before booking.

Can we use this as a golf base?

Yes, you can consider San Miguel for a self-catering golf trip with transport to the clubs. Check the bed layout for your group and book rounds separately.
