Orihuela Costa, one outing at a time

Orihuela Costa is the coastal part of Orihuela, with several beach areas rather than a single town centre. Pick a specific place for your day out and check the route from your accommodation.

Different names along the coast

The municipal beach information covers Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras. Use a named beach or access point when making plans; the broad label Orihuela Costa is not precise enough for a meeting point.

Staying by the coast or visiting from inland

A coastal address may suit a holiday built around walking to a particular beach. An inland apartment can suit a trip with different outings, provided the transport works. Our home is in San Miguel de Salinas, so a coastal day needs a separate journey.

Leave space in the day

Plan a meal, a return route and an alternative if conditions change. Check current beach services for your dates and do not assume summer opening hours apply in winter. For a group, agree on one place to meet before parking.
